Triglycerides

My friend complained about her blood work results. Her total cholesterols were good, but the triglycerides were way up.
So I did some sleuthing and this is what I found.
Triglycerides are a measurement of fat currently in your bloodstream.
Not long before we ate out way through Kentucky (Claudia Sanders restaurant anyone??). Oops...
So if you are needing blood work, do it BEFORE vacation.

  1. Have you thought about doing a nice gentle liver cleanse? This can really help too. Nothing harsh - just helping things along. My Doctor of Naturopathy gave me one that was so easy to do - drops in a pitcher of water, and drink it through the day. How easy - certainly didn't feel anything horrendous. Certainly affected my BMI numbers to the good.

When I did the de-tox I followed her diet, i.e. no white bread, alcohol or caffeine and limit things like potatoes, turnips, carrots (i.e. root veggies) - guess I'm tending towards being pre-diabetic.

Really interesting stuff and I certainly felt better. I do not touch white bread now at all.
