There be chocolate in the house!

Not in my house!
I took the dialect of my German Brethren neighbors for the title. Love my neighbors and their 6 boys.

I clean for spending money. Yesterday I went to my a relative's place. To make a long story short, I was put in a nasty mood by the condition of it. She has added a dog, a 90 yo man and new construction to a house that I used to feel guilty cleaning. No more!

Dear Sweet Lord, there were bowls of mini Hershey bars all over the place.

I could feel myself faltering at lunchtime so I opened the refrigerator and found a bag of apples. I'll return one to her this afternoon. Whew...

If anyone has any suggestions how to handle a bad mood without Hersheys, I would appreciate them. Tonight I face an office  huilding with a basket of chocolates out for all to enjoy. It's poison.

My calorie counting is going great. Went to Wendy's for lunch and I had a Jr. burger (284 calories) and a side salad with only a dollop of the "lite" French dressing (70 calories a pack??)

Did anyone see Dr. Oz today? A heavy, very unhealthy, cowboy went on a vegetarian diet. He was in bad shape before. His sandwiches now are tomato slices instead of bread, garlic, hummus with a soyburger inside.

He lost 15 pounds the first week. Well I thought I could copy the link from the az newspaper - but no go. If you want look it up Scottsdale man goes vegan for Dr. Oz show..
Anyway, he dropped 30 pounds and raised his good cholesterol 15 points
He had a much easier time getting on his horse as you can imagine he would. That is a goal I want to reach too.

Down 4 pounds this week! I know that cannot be expected every week, but it really felt good this morning. Had a brief scare - the scale said I gained 2 pounds. It took a minute before I realized the scale slider weight was pushed over. Woo!
